Shade Net FAQs
Is it 100% waterproof?
Standard shade nets are permeable to allow hot air to escape, preventing the “greenhouse effect.” However, they do break the force of heavy rain and prevent waterlogging by allowing slow seepage.
Which percentage should I choose for gardening?
For general home gardening, a 50% or 75% shade net is ideal. It provides enough shade to prevent leaf burn while allowing sufficient light for photosynthesis. 90% is better for car parking or privacy.
How is it fixed?
We use a metal framework (GI pipes) or high-tension wire ropes depending on the structure. The net is then securely clipped or tied to this frame to withstand wind pressure.
